Bebemoss

Bebemoss creates small scale, fair trade hand crocheted toys made in Turkey by women artisans, many of whom are mothers who needed work flexible enough to allow them to be with their kids. Founded by a mother who moved to Istanbul and was not able to find suitable toys for their newborn child. 

The brand works with both local and refugee women —many of them mothers—who produce each piece by hand using organic cotton yarn and recycled, hypoallergenic filling. The brand emphasizes dignified employment, flexible working conditions, and long-term support for the families involved in making each object.
